EC or as it stand for Elimination Communication is a gentle, non-coercive way to respond to a baby’s natural hygiene needs.



We started it from birth and are so happy we did it. It feels so natural and we se that Aurora really like it.


Like all mammals, human babies instinctually resist soiling themselves, their sleep space, and their caregivers, and they clearly communicate about it from birth.


With EC, we learn to se Auroras signals and assist her with this process until she naturally can go by her self.


Usually this is around 9-18 mounts old.

In this episode of our pregnancy series does Melanie talk about week 37 now when she going into the last weeks of the pregnancy. To eat vegan and be pregnant, how does that feel? Is it safe with a Vegan pregnancy? How does it feel to be pregnant in Bali and going into this phase of last weeks, what symptoms and much more about the fantastic last periods of pregnancy!

By 37 weeks, your baby is around 19 inches long and over 6 pounds. Its major organs are ready to work in the real world. The brain and lungs still need more time to fully mature, but if your baby is born today, chances are good that they would be just fine. Any guesses for what your child’s hair color might be? You’ll learn the answer soon, as many babies are born with locks that are an inch or longer.

And these Braxton-Hicks contractions might be kicking into high gear by now. In earlier pregnancy, Braxton-Hicks contractions likely didn’t produce much change in your body. Now, even at irregular intervals, they could be thinning out your cervix (called effacement) in preparation for delivery day.

Try changing positions, drinking water, or resting to help calm a particularly bad spell. If you can time the contractions or they get stronger, you might be in early labor.

Between all of your symptoms, give yourself extra time to get around. Ask for help if you have offers. Feeling uncomfortable and like you don’t have much control over your body can be disheartening, but you’re doing an important job.


In this episode of our pregnancy series Melanie talk about what type of vegan supplements she take during the pregnancy. When you are pregnant it is really important that you give the baby and yourself all the nutrients you need to have a healthy pregnancy. Especially it is even more important that you know what to take on a vegetarian diet, vegan diet or hlatbased diet when you are pregnant.

In this video you will see what type of supplements Melanie take during the stages of her pregnancy. It is very important that you check what you need to build up your baby with and some of the are very essential.

Take pills with supplements during a good pregnancy could be some of the most important thing for a healthy baby, as it takes a lot of resources from the body to be pregnant. With this video we like to inspire people to be aware of vitamins and enzymes, oils you should take if you need them.

Remember a healthy pregnancy will most likely get a well developed child happy and healthy. Things you could eat is for example b12, c-vitamin c, iron, folate etc.

Winter love bowl

This bowl will bring light to a cold winter day. Packed with C vitamins and nutrition. Super easy and fast to make. Make it as a meal or split it for a nice snack.

For the recipe 1-2 ppl

•4 frozen bananas

•3 bananas

•2 persimmon

•1 dl buckthorn or 2 tbs dried buckthorn powder

•1 dl coconut water

Put all the ingredients into a high speed blender and blend smooth. Poor into 1 or 2 bowls and ad the toppings down below.

Topped with

Homemade granola or your favorite one

•1 kiwi

•1 persimmon,

•2 slices of apple

•Drizzle dome lovely green spirulina sauce with probiotics (recipe down below)

Spirulina sauce

•2 banana

•2 dates

•1/2 tbs spirulina

•1 capsule probiotics

Blend all together in a high speed pleader. Put in the fridge for a couple of hours.

Ready to eat, enjoy with love and gratitude.
