In this episode of our pregnancy series does Melanie talk about week 37 now when she going into the last weeks of the pregnancy. To eat vegan and be pregnant, how does that feel? Is it safe with a Vegan pregnancy? How does it feel to be pregnant in Bali and going into this phase of last weeks, what symptoms and much more about the fantastic last periods of pregnancy!
So as always, sit back, relax and enjoy this video!

By 37 weeks, your baby is around 19 inches long and over 6 pounds. Its major organs are ready to work in the real world. The brain and lungs still need more time to fully mature, but if your baby is born today, chances are good that they would be just fine. Any guesses for what your child’s hair color might be? You’ll learn the answer soon, as many babies are born with locks that are an inch or longer.

And these Braxton-Hicks contractions might be kicking into high gear by now. In earlier pregnancy, Braxton-Hicks contractions likely didn’t produce much change in your body. Now, even at irregular intervals, they could be thinning out your cervix (called effacement) in preparation for delivery day.

Try changing positions, drinking water, or resting to help calm a particularly bad spell. If you can time the contractions or they get stronger, you might be in early labor.

Between all of your symptoms, give yourself extra time to get around. Ask for help if you have offers. Feeling uncomfortable and like you don’t have much control over your body can be disheartening, but you’re doing an important job.

Melanie talks about her third trimester with is the last one in the pregnancy. Here it happen a lot of things and the baby start to grow a lot.

This is a very special time. I will share everything for you in this video, and during this trimester we also hated to Bali, so it was very interesting to fly as pregnant and be in the tropics with the belly! Sit back, relax and enjoy my story of how to be pregnant and going trough the third trimester.

Todays outfit!

This night Aurora tried her baby nest for the first time! She loved it, we loved to see her cozying with it as soon she lay down. In it!

All of the clothes we have for Aurora is Organic or second hand as we dont want her to get chemicals from the clothing. This babynest is from Danmark and called Snabel Reden. We reall love it as well as , she really like to lay in it and you can see she feels comfortable and safe.

Also it’s so nice to look at as well it’s made from so good materials (Gots Certified) that is 100% organic/ natural and are not treated with bad things, so baby safe.

During the night se only have a t-shirt on as we are in Bali and it’s more hot here. This shirt is super cute and have a hart on the pocket and seas darling in Swedish on the back from Lundmyr of Sweden.

This night was also her first time having a cloth diaper. She haven’t had any diapers since birth as we do elimination communication. So the first 10 days she havent used a single diaper of any kind.

Lots of beautiful sleeps and happy dreams

Melanie, Tobias and Aurora

The first weeks of your pregnancy are a vital time as your body gets busy building a baby. First Trimester is week 1-12 and its is a very special time.

Today Melanie talks about her first trimester in the pregnancy. As you know we eat plant based, healthy and vegan. How did I feel during the first trimester? In this episode Melanie share her experiences of first time being pregnant and what upsides and and downsides the 1st trimester had.

We did a video with the story of Meanies first trimester watch the video here:

Morning sickness, nausea, various food craving and a lot of other trimester 1 symptoms.

The first trimester begins on the first day of your last period and lasts until the end of week 12. This means that by the time you know for sure you’re pregnant, you might already be five or six weeks pregnant!
A lot happens during these first three months. The fertilised egg rapidly divides into layers of cells and implants in the wall of your womb where it carries on growing. These layers of cells become an embryo, which is what the baby is called at this stage.
During this trimester, your baby grows faster than at any other time.

By six weeks, a heartbeat can usually be heard and by the end of week 12, your baby’s bones, muscles and all the organs of the body have formed. At this point, your baby looks like a tiny human being and is now called a fetus. He or she will even be practising swallowing!

This is really fantastic and that the body can do things like create a whole human❤️!

Hope you enjoyed the video about the first trimester, it will come videos from all the trimesters too keep yourself updated and subscribe to our newsletter!
