Cosleeping, How do we sleep with our baby!

Many people have asked us

– How do you guys sleep? Do Aurora sleep in a separate bed or toghether with you?

And the answer is, of course we co sleep. We all sleep toghether in the same bed. It’s so wonderful and Aurora really likes it.

Aurora have here little Baby nest that she TOTALLY LOVES 💕👶🏼.

She have lived it from the first day and sleeps really good in it.

It’s also feels good for us to know that she is laying there safe in between us.

Aurora never screams in the night, she have never done it, she only starts moving a lot and then we know she needs to go to the toilet (as we do EC Elimination Communication and also same when she wants to breast feed. After she falls asleep again.

She is close by and can always get our attention when she needs it💕🙏.

The baby nest is super convenient, and we always bring it with us if we go to resorts and sleeps somewhere else. Easy to take with us and Aurora can feel safe and comfortable 🙏💕.

It’s so wonderful to sleep together, so fantastic to wake up and see a big smile from Aurora the first thing wen you open your eyes.

Co sleeping is so natural and feels so wonderful to us.

So here is how we sleep 👶🏼💕💤👫

Lots of love

EC or as it stand for Elimination Communication is a gentle, non-coercive way to respond to a baby’s natural hygiene needs.

We started it from birth and are so happy we did it. It feels so natural and we se that Aurora really like it.

Like all mammals, human babies instinctually resist soiling themselves, their sleep space, and their caregivers, and they clearly communicate about it from birth.

With EC, we learn to se Auroras signals and assist her with this process until she naturally can go by her self.

Usually this is around 9-18 mounts old.

We have done a video when we talk about EC, how we do, how it has been and how we like it.

Trimester 2 of my pregnancy is a really amazing time, we got to see our baby for the first time, very emotional and also feeling the first kicks in the stomach of the beautiful person/soul growing inside! Today Melanie talks about her second trimester in the pregnancy. As you know we eat plant based, healthy and vegan. How did I feel during the second trimester? In this episode Melanie share her experiences of first time being pregnant and what upsides and and downsides the 2nd trimester had.

They say you feel like queen the second trimester,. is that really true? The second trimester of your pregnancy is from week 13 to week 28 – roughly months four, five and six. As well as feeling and looking more pregnant during these weeks, you may also have more energy than you did in the first trimester. This will come as a great relief if you have been struggling with sickness, tiredness or anxiety about getting through the first trimester.

To ensure you have all the relevant and timely information during this phase of pregnancy straight to your inbox sign up for weekly updates and views from our expert midwives. As you go through the second trimester, you’ll gradually see your ‘bump’ grow and later you’ll start to feel your baby moving. Choices and decisions in the second trimester of pregnancy You’ll be offered blood tests and your second ultrasound scan at around 20 weeks.

This scan looks at how the baby is growing and whether there are any causes for concern. You have the right to say no to any test or scan that’s offered. It is always your choice and the team looking after you will respect your decision. If you haven’t already thought about it, it’s a good time to start thinking about where and how you would like to have your baby. From home birth to hospital birth, you may have to make a decision. If this all seems a little scary, don’t worry. Your midwife will be there to support you and tell you what your choices are.

You’ll go from beginner to expert in just a few weeks! You may want to consider whether to ask if you’re having a boy or a girl when you have your scans. This is a very personal decision – some parents are excited to find out and others prefer to be surprised at the birth. Keep in mind, though, that a scan doesn’t always show the sex of the baby and sometimes what you are told could turn out to be wrong!

If you are still smoking – even if it’s just the odd cigarette – check out your local stop smoking options. If you stop smoking before the 15th week of pregnancy, the health risks for your baby go down. Stopping smoking is one of the best things you can do for the health of your baby. Experts agree that staying active in pregnancy is good for you and your baby. You can prepare your body for the challenges of labour and being a mum by keeping yourself healthy and active during your second trimester.

Todays outfit!

This night Aurora tried her baby nest for the first time! She loved it, we loved to see her cozying with it as soon she lay down. In it!

All of the clothes we have for Aurora is Organic or second hand as we dont want her to get chemicals from the clothing. This babynest is from Danmark and called Snabel Reden. We reall love it as well as , she really like to lay in it and you can see she feels comfortable and safe.

Also it’s so nice to look at as well it’s made from so good materials (Gots Certified) that is 100% organic/ natural and are not treated with bad things, so baby safe.

During the night se only have a t-shirt on as we are in Bali and it’s more hot here. This shirt is super cute and have a hart on the pocket and seas darling in Swedish on the back from Lundmyr of Sweden.

This night was also her first time having a cloth diaper. She haven’t had any diapers since birth as we do elimination communication. So the first 10 days she havent used a single diaper of any kind.

Lots of beautiful sleeps and happy dreams
